I have been infected by something like a parasite or bacteria or something else- I don’t really know. I have never been very good at biology.
E. : The eldest sister, mechanic, welder, general badass
K. : me, the middle sister and twin to A. artist type
A. : my twin sister, Epidemiologist
eka.gren: the collective consciousness formed from the above three sisters
e. is the general mechanical removed from the human
k. is the general conscious intervention
a. the bacterial and the unconscious interventions of the body
E. has it too, but I don’t talk about it with her either. It’s honestly pretty funny that the one out of the three of us that might be able to identify some kind of small cohabitant, is the only one who doesn’t have it. For a long time I was worried about giving it to A.. We are twins after all, and many things happen inside your body before you remember it being yours. Memory is a funny thing for twins I think, maybe all of us, but I am a twin so... It is like living with a deep fake of yourself: a slightly off copy. Something you don’t even realize or think twice about until you look at pictures and you don’t know which one was you so you end up having this double existence. Double or half, depending on how you cut it I guess.
Copies are powerful things. I was reading about votives and binding within copies and a deep fake or a twin is a votive in many ways. I believe the cohabitant can be transferred via this process. There is also something safer about doubling. Increasing the possibility of, like some kind of shell game. The more you have, the more copies and doubling, the further the prize in the center is tucked away and safe. If it were to be modeled it would be between a Russian nesting doll and a shell game. The reason it is never either structure is because agency and self-identification is in itself fluid with the deep fake structure. The smallest center doll, nor the prized shell never know their true identity. They can guess, but they are always a bit unsure.
